We Are Open to Serve You

We have changed operating hours and temporarily closed some of our branch locations for the safety of our customers and employees. Check availability and hours of operation status here.

For those branches remaining open:

  • Updated hours of operation: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday at branches that currently operate Saturday hours.
  • Social distancing measures: Some branches will only offer drive-up access, and others will have reduced lobby access. We are asking that customers visiting our branches wait in the lobby - where our associates will meet them to gather or exchange banking documents, then take the documents inside the branch for processing, and then return the documents / provide transaction receipts to the customer back in lobby. We apologize if this results in longer than usual wait times.
  • Request an Appointment: In order to expedite the process when you visit a branch – you can schedule an appointment ahead of time and receive a confirmation of the appointment from Alma Bank. Click Here to request an appointment.
  • Customer Service Call center: For urgent issues, you can call us from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT Monday to Friday at (718) 267-ALMA (2562). We apologize for any longer than usual wait times and ask for your understanding as we work to serve all our customers.

Beware of Cyber-Scams

As more and more consumers and small businesses are moving to online and smartphone app-based banking during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic (some for the first time ever), cyber criminals are bound to seek ways to take advantage of unsuspecting individuals.

These actions include sending e-mails with malicious attachments, and links to deceptive websites that trick victims into revealing sensitive information or donating to fraudulent causes and charities.

It is recommended by cyber security experts that everyone should exercise extreme caution in opening any e-mails with a COVID-19 related subject line, attachment, or hyperlink; and be wary of social media solicitations, texts or calls related to COVID-19. You should also be on the lookout for Phishing e-mail scams - where criminals send an e-mail that appears to be from a legitimate company and asks you to provide sensitive information.

At Alma Bank - we place the highest level of importance on safeguarding out customer’s data. We will never ask for personal information over the phone or by e-mail – such as account numbers, passwords or your social security number.

We have taken additional measures inside the Bank to enhance our security by increasing the monitoring and cyber-security controls to protect customer information. These steps are helping mitigate malware threats and guard against other types of cyber-security attacks. Our employees are being ever vigilant for malicious e-mails using COVID-19 subject lines / content, skeptical of e-mails from unfamiliar sources and employing enhanced Phishing tests.
