Job Title:    Service Manager

Department:    Retail Banking

Location:          Clifton, NJ

 

SUMMARY:

Develops and implements retail banking strategies within a geographic trade area. Overall management of branch; including operations, sales, service audits, and staffing with a primary focus on service and operations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Deepens the existing relationship and delivers exceptional customer experience

·         Manage day to day branch operations and service delivery

·         Develops and efficient sales team through consistent coaching and behaviors

·         Ownership for service levels and operational excellence

·         Develops a customer centric culture and environment

·         Ensures security and safety is in accordance with the Bank's objectives

·         Promotes sales and referrals from teller and platform staff

·         Addresses and resolves escalated customer complaints

·         Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities to implement institution's policies, procedures, and practices

·         Services and sells to customers via escalations or complex sales referred by Relationship Manager

·         Develops additional efforts to generate branch traffic

·         Reviews work schedules and ensure adequate coverage

·         Responsible for risk and compliance for branch

·         Prepares branch for internal audits

·         Monitors branch service levels and coaches staff to achieve appropriate levels

 

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

·         At least two to four years of supervisory experience in a financial institution

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting or other related field
