ALMA BANK Names George Katsiaunis as New President

New York - Alma Bank announced today that it has named George Katsiaunis as its new President. He succeeds the Bank’s first President Mr. Luis Rebatta.

Mr. Katsiaunis brings 25 years of experience in banking, finance and management to Alma Bank. During his extensive banking career, Mr. Katsiaunis has overseen various departments and most recently was an executive officer of a community bank.  With his vast experience, Alma Bank looks forward to increasing its involvement and ties within all of its banking communities.  In addition to being responsible for the Bank’s day to day operations, Mr. Katsiaunis stated that he will work closely with the Bank’s Chairman, Kirk Karabelas and its Board of Directors along with Senior Management, to continue the Bank’s growth while executing the Bank's long-term strategic plans.

Chairman Kirk Karabelas added, "We are honored to have Mr. Katsiaunis join our team. His experience and knowledge of the market place makes him a significant asset for our Bank. His prior experiences will serve him well as he leads the Bank forward".

Among his numerous civic and community agendas, Mr. Katsiaunis is a member of the Hellenic American Bankers Association and the Cathedral of Saint John the Theologian in Tenafly NJ.

Alma Bank is a full service community based financial institution. During its first three and a half years of operations it has expanded its franchise through nine branches in the New York area and continues this momentum with a tenth branch in Tenafly, NJ.
