IMPORTANT FDIC INFORMATION

Extension of Transaction Account Guarantee (TAG) Program 

Alma Bank is participating in the FDIC’s TAG Program.  Under this program, through DECEMBER 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.  Coverage under the TAG Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

Non-interest bearing transaction accounts include IOLTA accounts (Interest on Lawyers Trust Account) and NOW accounts earning no more than a 0.25% interest rate.

Extension of Temporary Increase in Standard Maximum deposit Insurance Amount

Deposits in Checking, Savings, Money Market and Certificate of Deposit accounts at FDIC-insured institutions are insured up to $250,000 per depositor through DECEMBER 31, 2013. On January 1, 2014, the standard insurance amount will return to $100,000 per depositor for all account categories except for IRAs and other certain retirement accounts which will remain at $250,000 per depositor.

Debt Guarantee Program

This debt is guaranteed under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program and is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States. The details of the FDIC guarantee are provided in the FDIC’s regulations, 12 CFR Part 370, and at the FDIC’s website, www.fdic.gov/tlgp. The expiration date of the FDIC’s guarantee is the earlier of the maturity date of the debt or June 30, 2012.
